Leishmaniasis are notifiable diseases, characterized by severe clinical manifestations, being caused obligate intracellular protozoa, belonging to the genus Leishmania, where species L. (L.) infantum and (V.) braziliensis responsible for most cases. of leishmaniasis in Brazil.
